My name is Josh and I’m currently the Director of Global Logistics for a publicly traded company and I’ve spent the last decade in various roles both on the carrier side, as well as on the shipper/importer side. I am a supply-chain maniac. I also like beer. I love to consume both! I wanted to construct a blog where I can talk everyday logistics like I would sitting across the table with someone having a nice cold one. I love the way everything fits together to make a supply-chain work, and I love the way there is such infinite potential to make things more efficient while improving customer satisfaction and saving $ in the process. I started this blog as a way to diversify my experience and understand some of the finite pieces of the supply chain. With help from some of the many colleagues I have in various levels and industries of supply-chain, I hope to offer interesting content without all of the “technical” lingo and aspects that might make a topic boring.

When I’m not starting blogs or working within supply-chains, I enjoy being outside with my wife and our 2 Corgi pups, drinking beer, and playing golf! I also enjoy reading, traveling, and checking out new restaurants, all over the world. My life-long goal is to own a piece of property on a beach that will be my own little oasis. I’m still far from that goal, but having something to work towards is important!

I hope you enjoy the blog and feel free to comment, soak up the knowledge, and drink up the beer. Cheers!
